We Took A 10KM Walk For Our Hearts - WalkHeartOn 8.0

“It was exciting, captivating and definitely fun!” Those words best describe Nigeria’s biggest Health Walk which took place at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Elekahia, Port Harcourt as we hosted our highly anticipated annual event, WalkHeartOn 8.0.

This event is part of Power Oil’s ongoing initiative to inspire Nigerians to incorporate a daily 30-minute walk into their routine for improved fitness and overall health. The city of Port-Harcourt came alive as we embarked on a 10km walk to promote heart health. Our journey began at Elekahia Stadium and looped back to the same point.

The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with health-conscious individuals, families, and fitness enthusiasts converging as early as 7 a.m. to receive their kits and partake in this energizing fitness walk.

In a bid to elevate this year’s event’s excitement, Power Oil collaborated with renowned celebrities, including Port Harcourt’s own Duncan Mighty, Mercy Johnson Okojie, and Big Brother Naija’s Cee-C. Their presence added an extra layer of enthusiasm, creating an unforgettable experience for all involved.
